REDSTAR is seeking a reliable, dedicated Full-Time Accountant to join our expanding team. This role involves overseeing inventory, prepayments, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving client success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors
• Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors
• Examine accounting information and perform account reconciliations
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned by management.

 

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Knowledge of the agricultural industry is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of inventory and prepaid commodities
• Strong computer skills with an in-depth knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Preference will be given to those with experience using Merchant Ag
