We both come from farming families in the heart of Leigh, Nebraska. In the early spring of 2004, we took a leap into the unknown by establishing a seed corn and soybean operation. Despite initial reservations about our busy lives and commitments to the family farm, our ambition led us to launch Ryan Mullenhoff Seeds, believing it would be a brief chapter in our lives. Instead, this venture quickly became the foundation for our future.

 

Within five years, we expanded our offerings to include fertilizers and additional products and services, prompting a name change to Ryan Mullenhoff Sales, LLC. This evolution positioned us as a full-service agricultural dealership, allowing us to brand our line of fertilizers, REDSTAR FERTILIZER, and develop a comprehensive portfolio of products under the REDSTAR BRANDED label.

 

Renowned for our dedication to customer service, community engagement, and 24/7 availability, we have built strong partnerships within the farming community over the past 20 seasons, establishing ourselves as a competitive force in the agricultural sector. Our growth and diversification culminated in a rebranding in 2020, when we proudly became REDSTAR, LLC. This name was chosen out of our love for all things red and the realization that what began as one red star in a small county in Nebraska has now grown into a prominent presence across eleven states. It reflects both our passion and our journey, symbolizing our commitment to supporting growers far beyond our original roots.
